Is Halloween celebrated in Europe? It's Halloween here in the states and it's going to be crazy tonigh.
Just wondering.

I'm writing a novel about a Muay Thai boxer. This video impressed me alot. Great job by the guy who put this together.
Anyway, for me, whenever I have a headache, I drink coffee and then the headache is gone in a few minutes.
Are there any more common things that cures your headache, allergy or anything when you take it or drink it based on your own personal experiences? Just had to know, since when I tell people that, they say, "Nah, you're kidding."
Does coffee cure headaches in general?
How is the new European currency helping the European economy. Do you think it's actually bad for the countries in the long run? Or will it be bad in the long run?
Got me thinking. If Canadian dollar and the U.S. dollar is the same value. It would be kind of the same situation that's happening in Europe. Interesting. Or am I totally wrong
What is the best sites in London? In other words, if I went there, what's the first place I should check out?
Is it me or does everyone feel the effects of the weather change? It happens every season's end. I feel a bit congested. The pattern goes on.
Is David Beckham the best English player of all time?
I must say that he's a superstar here in the U.S. I mean, people here are going David crazy. Women love him. He made Football (Soccer) twice as popular in the states.
Before he came here, televised soccer games were only found mostly on pay per view. Now, it's in national channels more and more. It's rather crazy. It's Beckham Mania.
I've noticed that many British people in the U.S. love to drink tea. They'd ask for tea in coffee shops a lot.
How often do people drink tea in the U.K.?
In case you're wondering, my novel is about the ninja. Mainly, the main question is: "What happens if the ninja still exists today?"
The ninja has been eternalize through movies, through cartoons, and through the practice of their self-defense techniques. Still, hundreds of years later, their legacy is still remembered.
Americans a game that is played using the hands Football. And we call a game played by legs socce. I think our definition of these two games are wrong.
Has anyone gone to Scotland? Are the castles spooky? I would really like to stay on one of those castles and see how it's like.
They say that being frightened can spark new ideas....
Spooky, I mean, a bit of mystery, not haunted itself.
There are many tales about castles being haunted and all, so the question is: Are they really haunted or is this something made up just to attract visits to these castles? It surely worked on me.
My new novel takes place in thailand. And what I was typing about is the part where he comes back to Bangkok to settle the score.
I've never been to Thailand. It's weird, but I'm writing about it.
Anyway, I heard this new song from a new band. Rocks totally. Yeah!
I had my eyes closed half of the time and managed to dab 1,000 words this morning. I was closing my eyes while typing. Weird. Could it be sleep typing?
Been up for 4 hours, surfing the net on how to make origami figures. I never really understood what they are really for, but they seem kind of cool.
That's about it.
I'm writing in my casual voice, not my literary voice. As you know, literary voices and casual voices are rather different. I am a writer. Not a wannabe. While I do have fans, it's relatively not in the realm of out-of-this world proportion.
I did it all on my own. Got a publishing deal but didn't like it, so like any writer who likes his freedom, I self-published.
But, next time though, I might sign with a publishing house.... For my next work.
Just to let you know, just because you've gotten a publishing deal, don't sign until you read the bottom line. They put many vague things in the contract designed to trap a writer. Not good. Not good. READ THE FINE PRINT.....
This is the same in Sports contracts as well. Ever heard of the athlete that got screwed? The same thing with writers.
I'm tired of getting treated differently at work. People know that I published a novel and it's spreading rather too fast, too fast that people are getting too excited. "Remember me when you become rich and famous," they'd say...
I cringe at those things because the truth is that it's rather difficult being an author these days. Most authors are poor until they get that lucky book hit. The truth is that 4 out of 5 books don't repay their advance against royalty rate. For instance, 4 out of 5 times, publishers lose money. That is why many small print publishers are getting out of business, only to get merged by the larger houses.
I write stories because I love to write. It's not about the money. Never was. But, people at work see it differently like they have this suspicious look on their faces.
So, my advice to writers out there. Please, don't bring your writing to work. It's not worth it. It's too much hassle. It's too much distraction.
I may have to quit my job sooner or later in about 10 months at the most because of this. I love my job, but it's getting to the point that it's gotten out of hand. Everywhere I go people chant, "There's the author!"
I miss the "hi sweeties" and "what's up, dudes?" What happened to that?
I broke down one time, but learning to cope with it. Now, it's just getting annoying.
Any advice? I surely need it.....
Been a long day today. First, a lot of stress. I'm sleepy, but I can't go to sleep. I can't sleep for some reason.
Finally, my college diploma for Fine Arts arrived today. What a feeling, just to hold that piece of paper. 5 years of hard work. Just like the end to any story. A resolution, a conclusion..... Now,it's time to start anew: to fully dedicate myself to writing stories that I want to tell.....
I'm happy right now.
Great. Thanks for the advice. Hopefully, I can get their in Europe sooner than 5 years. Long day for me today. My boss keeps on having me do things.
It's weird, ya know. The harder I work, the more work they have me do.
I recently made a decision, a life-changing decision that will either be a good thing or a bad thing -
I've decided to put off my new novel aside, which is going to be finished soon. 40,000 words. 10,000 more words to go and it's a full length novel.
I'm putting that aside for awhile and write another novel afterwards before doing anything grand.
My first novel just got released February and I think it's kind of too early to release a new one.
thanks for all the advice. The oceanside: peaceful and quiet. I want a long vacation: more like 6 months. Hopefully, I could come up with a couple of new ideas for a novel.
I always wanted to visit Europe and just relax on the country side and write the whole day. Refreshing.
I hope it will happen soon. Well, hopefully within 5 years when I've saved enough money.
Somewhere peaceful and not a lot of noise.....
Do you know the right place for me? I like trees, a lot of trees by the ocean.
I haven't had lobster for the longest time. The first thing on my mind this morning was lobster. Totally strange.
I'm just about to go out and do some writing. A couple of hours in the coffee shop is going to be fun before going to work.
What do you think about an author who writes multiple genres?
It's a rather sensitive topic and many people don't like to talk about it.
For instance, if a writer like me who writes action novels suddenly turned to the romantic genre? Not saying that I'm going to write something like that....
But, what if Stephen King, for example suddenly wrote funny works?
There sure was a lot of drama today, but the day didn't turn out that bad as expected. It was a very calm day other than the fact that my cell is still gone.
I was in a good mood until I lost my cell phone. I'm quite angry about this.
It may be a sign of a bad day. I need Gwen Stefani music to calm me down. She's got a great voice that calms you down.
For all the nice comments. I'm feeling better now. A bit cold, but my nose is all better. I could actually breath. That's after all the liquids and cold medicines.
I saw the Game Plan with the Rock:
It was awesome. I was all comfy in the theater, with my jacket on and plenty of tissue.
Heart-warming film -
My nose is itchy. My fingers feeling all shaky. My throat hurts. I just recovered from a case of the cold.
This, for some reason, happens every time the season changes.
